Why the stopping at the end of the day?

And the pause as the week expires?

Why a Sunday and a Feast?

What good does a vacation achieve?

The moon tells of the sun,

and time of eternity.

Work is but a promise,

of a rest to come.

For man was not made for production,

and his being transcends techné.

His rest is not absence of action,

but his acts change what he is.

One rests to achieve perfect action.
