Consecration of my Priesthood to the Blessed Virgin Mary
I, an unfaithful sinner, renew and ratify today through you, Mary Mother of God and Mother of the Church, my baptismal promises. I renounce Satan forever, his empty promises and his evil designs, and I give myself completely to Jesus Christ, the incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him for the rest of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have been till now.
This day, with the whole court of heaven as witness, together with my family, my friends and my parish, I choose you, Mary, as my Mother and Queen. I surrender and consecrate myself to you, body and soul, my priesthood and entire priestly ministry, now and in eternity, as your slave, with all that I possess, both spiritual and material, even including the value of all my good actions, past, present, and to come. I give you the full right to dispose of me and all that belongs to me, without any reservations, in whatever way you please, for the greater glory of God in time and throughout eternity.
Mary, you are the love of my youth and the hope of my life. Help me grow in those virtues for which you are so exalted, especially fidelity to Christ, love for the Church, devotion to the Eucharist, faith, hope and charity. Protect me from the evil one with your powerful intercession. Watch over my family, my friends, my parish, and all those souls God will entrust to my care, and even my enemies. Bring me one day to contemplate you, with all the angels and saints, in the eternal happiness of heaven, for ever and ever. Amen.
